Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a member of a product/infrastructure team

Requirements
What you’ll need- Target Start Date: May/June 2027
- Rising Sophomore, Junior or Senior
- Working towards a Bachelor's in Engineering, Computer Science or similar field, including a solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals
- Strong understanding of computer science concepts and object-oriented design principles
- Knowledge of developing software in different programming languages, with demonstrated ability to quickly learn new languages
- Knowledge and experience with approaches and tools for automated testing and monitoring
- Preferred: Experience with Java, Kotlin, Go or Scala and Python
- Preferred: Experience with the Spring framework with Java or Kotlin
- Preferred: Backend development, design and implementation; relational databases such as Postgres; NoSQL databases such as Cassandra; caching; messaging; and big data development, implementation and optimization
- Preferred: Web and API security knowledge, including authentication, authorization, OAuth, OWASP, OpenID, and SAML
- Preferred: Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, Jasmine, Protractor, and Cucumber
- Preferred: Experience with packaging/build tools such as Gradle, Maven, NPM, Artifactory, Jenkins, and Concourse
- Preferred: Experience with Amazon Web Services components such as Lambdas, Athena, S3, EMR, Step Functions, Route 53, and EC2
- Preferred: Exposure to cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or GCP, including compute, storage, networking, and IAM
- Preferred: Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
- Preferred: Scripting and automation experience in Python or Bash, with comfort working in Linux/Unix environments
- Must have reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload when working from home
