Key responsibilities & impact- Write, test, review, and ship code across the stack, primarily using React and TypeScript on the front end with Node.js and AWS underneath

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and education experts to turn complex requirements into usable software
- Push back on technically unsound requirements and incorporate classroom expertise into designs
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent degree or training
- 5+ years of professional full-stack software development experience
- Strong understanding of good software design principles and modern engineering practices
- Experience working in complex systems and large codebases
- Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks, including React
- Solid understanding of modern backend web technologies, including Node.js
- Ability to reason about scalable, maintainable service design
- Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly, verbally and in writing
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment through self-driven learning
- Genuine passion for education products and commitment to building tools that are more equitable and accessible for all learners
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
