About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Direct and manage strategic planning, software development, implementation, administration, and maintenance for a large suite of application systems and solutions
- Develop long- and short-term technology solutions addressing business goals, profitability, efficiency, and customer experience
- Partner with Accounting & Finance, Compensation, HR, Legal, Payroll, Procurement, Recruiting, and Training & Development
- Lead technology strategy and execution for the E2E engagement program
- Oversee technology solutions for digital communication through SMS, email, push notifications, and associate engagement through phone, webchat, and SMS
- Utilize AI, CRM/SF, SFMC, and related technologies
- Collaborate with technology and operations teams to deliver successful retail experiences
- Lead discovery and execution of technology products
- Implement interaction design and define product personas
- Ensure technical feasibility of potential solutions with engineers
- Be accountable for experience outcomes and develop a learning agenda with the Product Manager
- Manage stakeholder and partner expectations
- Drive technology discovery and communicate the art of the possible
- Develop technology artifacts to articulate, inform, and validate ideas with consumers and stakeholders
- Lead the overall technical direction of the team
- Oversee the technical discovery process
- Maintain product architecture with support from the Solution Architect
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA/BS Degree required
- Master’s Degree a plus
- 10+ years of experience in Information Technology
- 7+ years of application systems development and implementation experience
- 5+ years of experience managing direct reports
- Proven experience leading technology projects and teams
- Strong understanding of interaction design and product personas
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and deliver on experience outcomes
- Experience developing and implementing technology strategies
- Experience with emerging technology, commercial solutions, and custom development
- Knowledge of modern design principles and improved navigation techniques
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
