About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage end-to-end Dynamics 365 Business Central/NAV implementation projects
- Conduct high-level discovery sessions and demonstrations during pre-sales engagements
- Manage customer expectations and align them with project goals and deliverables
- Analyse client business processes and requirements to design effective solutions
- Develop and document solution architectures and functional specifications
- Provide comprehensive Dynamics 365 Business Central/NAV user training
- Deliver post-implementation support and troubleshooting
- Identify opportunities for system improvements, enhancements, process improvement, and innovation
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior consultants and project team members
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment
- Delegate tasks while ensuring accountability and quality
- Stay updated on Dynamics 365 Business Central/NAV trends and developments
- Ensure project activities comply with internal policies and external regulations
- Maintain documentation of project activities, decisions, and changes
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong finance and business process skills acquired in a customer-facing role
- Strong experience leading complete project lifecycles, including requirements gathering, process mapping, solution design and architecture, user training, testing (SIT and UAT), data migration, and go-live support
- Proven functional skills in Dynamics 365 Business Central and/or NAV
- Implementation experience with GL, FA, AP/P2P, AR/O2C, Workflows, Inventory Management, Project Management/Jobs, Roles and Permissions, and Config Packages
- Experience delivering support to existing implementations and identifying customer opportunities
- Experience in Jet Reports, Continia Document Capture, Continia Expense Management, or Power Platform is highly desirable
- Some knowledge of Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate is highly desirable
- Pre-sales engagement experience, including high-level discovery and demonstrations, is highly desirable
- Experience with multi-company/multi-currency organisations, supply chain/distribution, manufacturing, contracting/professional services, or public sector organisations is highly desirable
- Confident communicator/presenter able to manage customer/stakeholder relationships
- Comfortable leading workshops in a customer-facing role
- Ability to delegate effectively while remaining responsible for task delivery
- Team player who encourages and mentors other team members
- Act in an open and transparent manner
- Highly organised with strong documentation ability
