About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Engage with customers to understand their needs and tailor relevant products and services
- Act as the first point of contact for customers in branch
- Conduct ‘My Review’ appointments face to face, virtually, or by telephone
- Proactively contact customers by phone to identify and discuss their needs
- Educate customers on products, services, and communication channels
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records using internal systems
- Identify and appropriately support vulnerable customers
- Adhere to relevant policies, standards, controls, and authority limits
- Provide face-to-face, virtual, and outbound customer support for Skipton Building Society
Requirements
What you’ll need- Previous experience interacting with customers, including experience in person or over the phone
- Passion for delivering exceptional service and going above and beyond
- Enjoy meeting new people and engaging in purposeful conversation
- Ability to work well alongside others with a ‘one-team’ mindset
- Excellent time management and ability to handle a wide variety of customers
- Desire and ability to grow, adapt and change while accommodating business needs and priorities
