About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assess renewable energy projects on behalf of lenders, investors, and other project stakeholders, primarily focusing on wind
- Work within multidisciplinary teams of engineers and other technical staff on due diligence assignments under project manager direction and supervision
- Attend client meetings and undertake site visits within the UK and globally
- Author and complete report sections within project deadlines and scope requirements
- Support proposal development to secure new work
Requirements
What you’ll need- Educated to degree level in an engineering discipline
- Working knowledge of onshore and/or offshore wind projects
- Understanding of the technical aspects of renewable energy infrastructure projects
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrably strong report writing skills
- Competent user of Microsoft Office365 products
- Flexible and proactive approach to project delivery
- Reliability and good organisational skills
- Awareness of technical due diligence requirements on infrastructure projects or experience in infrastructure project or supply chain activities
- Experience in development, construction, and operation of onshore and offshore wind energy projects, particularly owners engineering, due diligence, or technical advisory activities within a consultancy
- Working knowledge of Solar PV, BESS, or Hybrid
- Understanding of commercial aspects of renewable energy infrastructure projects, including project finance
- Understanding of risk categorisation and mitigation
- Ability to speak a second language
- Driving licence
- Postgraduate qualification in wind energy or renewable energy engineering
