About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Examine damaged vehicles and efficiently plan the repair process
- Work and communicate with others on vehicle repair status
- Perform quality repairs while maintaining on-time status
- Decide whether to repair or replace components based on safety, cost, and cycle time
- Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window operating equipment, and trim to access vehicles and fenders
- Participate in required safety meetings
- File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power and hand tools
- Provide nonsupervisory technical guidance to apprentices on unusual problems or repair procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2 years of experience as Auto Body Repairer or Auto Body Technician
- 9 months of experience in welding
- 12 months of experience in frame straightening
- 9 months of experience in panel replacement
- 12 months of experience in refinishing
- 9 months of experience in vehicle measurement
- Must be able to clear OFAC check and pass MVR check as pre-employment screening
- Must have the ability to obtain a valid driver's license in any state in the U.S. or possess a valid driver's license for any state in the U.S.
- Position is non-exempt and hourly
