About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist providers and clinical staff with administrative and select patient care tasks
- Support patient scheduling and work queue needs
- Follow up on no-shows and work with providers to review and approve add-ons
- Greet and room patients
- Support virtual visits and complete identification verification
- Obtain height, weight, and vital signs
- Chaperone exams as needed
- Administer questionnaires and document in the electronic medical record
- Perform limited patient care tasks based on training
- Process incoming mail, scans, copies, and faxes
- Print and update forms
- Answer internal phone calls
- Place office supply orders
- Stock and clean exam rooms
- Order and maintain clinic supplies
- Float to support other assigned areas and clinic locations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Customer service skills
- Ability to follow direction and perform tasks within scope of role
- Experience in healthcare or patient care experience
- Experience using electronic medical record
- Medical terminology
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Part-time availability
- Ability to float to assigned clinic locations
