Key responsibilities & impact- Plan and execute Waterfall and hybrid projects within a technical architecture, infrastructure, and security program
- Provide technical direction to the team by offering guidance, removing blockers, and prioritizing activities
- Develop and lead the implementation plan, scenarios, and test plan
- Manage interdependencies, scope, risks, timelines, and resources
- Lead program governance with technical and business teams
- Serve as the focal point between technical teams and executives
- Review and validate functional and technical requirements, assessing clarity, completeness, and integrations
- Coordinate the technical schedule with the leaders of each workstream
- Establish executive routines, KPIs, and progress tracking
- Prepare dashboards, executive reports, and management presentations
- Integrate multidisciplinary teams and vendors across engineering, information security, quality/UAT, compliance, and business functions
- Lead multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Propose continuous improvements to management processes and applied methodologies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Technical background in infrastructure, architecture, and environment configuration
- Knowledge of information security and environment security projects
- Previous experience in technical roles (development, infrastructure, or IT) before transitioning to project management
- Strong experience managing large and complex technology projects
- Expertise in implementation plans, scenarios and test plans, interdependency management, and risk management
- Experience working in a regulated financial environment (BACEN), with a focus on compliance, internal controls, and information security
- Experience integrating systems, including legacy systems and APIs
- Experience with project governance, KPIs, executive routines, and leadership reporting
- Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Experience with MS Project, Jira, Monday.com, or Azure DevOps
- Ability to interpret functional and technical requirements, analyze scope, and assess integrations
- Experience in banking environments
- Project management certification (PMI/PMP) preferred
- Knowledge of BACEN regulations and banking products preferred
- Experience in PMO or IT Governance preferred
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices preferred
- Ability to direct the team and remove blockers, with an ownership mindset
- Strong problem-solving skills under pressure and a focus on deadlines
- Negotiation and persuasion skills with stakeholders at all levels, including technology leadership
- Clear written and verbal communication
