About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Communicate with customers, vendors, colleagues, agents, and other parties to coordinate logistics, schedules, budgets, and payments
- Prepare estimates and project budgets
- Research and present transport schedules and routing options
- Advise on appropriate fine-art packing solutions
- Book airfreight with airlines or steamship lines
- Carry out export procedures
- Handle import and US Customs procedures
- Prepare export documentation including AWBs, delivery orders, and packing lists
- Obtain and prepare documents for US Customs entries
- Research and compile project schedules, shipping requirements, and deadlines
- Create and submit invoices for services provided
- Provide live documentation and courier assistance at JFK
Requirements

- Must undergo Transportation Security Administration (TSA) training and certifications
- Familiarity with export procedures
- Familiarity with import and US Customs procedures
- Familiarity with TSA compliance issues for international shipments
- Familiarity with USA permitting needs, including US Fish and Wildlife Department, USDA, OFAC, and others
