About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own accounts payable and receivable, client invoicing, vendor payments, and expense reconciliation
- Manage financial reporting, budgeting, cash-flow tracking, and forecasting to support leadership decisions
- Review, redline, and manage client and vendor agreements, NDAs, and other contracts
- Identify risks, coordinate negotiations, and oversee business compliance, insurance, and administrative requirements
- Manage employee and contractor onboarding and offboarding, documentation, policies, and vendor management
- Build and improve internal workflows, reporting dashboards, and operational systems
- Identify inefficiencies, automate repetitive tasks, and proactively implement scalable solutions
- Work directly with company leadership and support the company’s growth
- Help build systems and processes for a fast-growing creative business serving tech startups
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5 years of experience in business operations, finance operations, or similar roles
- Experience at a fast-growing startup is a major plus
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Highly driven, adaptable, and willing to go above and beyond when needed
- Extremely proactive and resourceful, with a strong sense of ownership
- Ability to anticipate problems, take initiative, and drive solutions independently
- Exceptional organization and attention to detail
- Ability to juggle competing priorities and consistently follow through
- Experience reviewing and redlining contracts, identifying risks, and negotiating commercial terms is a strong plus
- Familiarity with AI tools and eagerness to leverage AI and automation to improve workflows and productivity
- Excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and ability to work independently with leadership, employees, clients, and vendors
- Must be based in the United States
- Must be comfortable working late nights and weekends as needed
