About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and design wellness programs with assigned facilities
- Ensure program competencies, training, reporting, and documentation requirements are met
- Support regional teams, operations, new program design, and implementation of products and services
- Develop and implement tools to evaluate wellness program effectiveness and manage outcomes
- Report program participation and outcomes quarterly to stakeholders
- Prepare and present educational information aligned with wellness program and facility objectives
- Provide onsite screening support and education
- Support onsite programs, biometric screenings, and phlebotomy activities as appropriate
- Represent facilities at business and community events and coordinate facility events
- Serve as a wellness resource and oversee member communication and outreach initiatives
- Monitor wellness research, developments, and standards
- Research and create programs to meet population needs
- Support reporting, data management, and outcomes
- Learn software applications and maintain databases
- Coordinate record keeping and prepare reports
- Collaborate with Health Services, Marketing, IT, Sales, and wellness departments
- Manage calendars, promote activities with Marketing, and coordinate onsite activities
- Participate on committees as assigned and provide Wellness Program expertise
- Provide telephonic and onsite health coaching for lifestyle management programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare-related field (required)
- Minimum of 1 year of related work experience (required)
- Computer literacy
- Critical thinking
- Interpersonal communication
- Ability to work some early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends
- Candidate must reside in Lackawanna, Luzerne, or a surrounding county
- Ability to support biometric screenings and phlebotomy based on skill set and educational background
