Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver moderate to complex analyses and reports independently
- Work with large datasets using Python, Hadoop, R, SQL, SAS, and Google Cloud
- Analyze and resolve anomalies identified through quantitative tools and techniques
- Lead conversations with business partners and communicate key points to stakeholders
- Develop and deliver presentations, tools, dashboards, and visualizations
- Identify and anticipate business needs and determine how to obtain information
- Review junior staff work and provide input, direction, and mentorship
- Coordinate activities within the team
- Document solutions and create procedures for ongoing testing and validation
- Own segmentation, forecasting, reporting, and campaign files for Direct Mail marketing campaigns
- Support audience segmentation strategy and marketing spend forecasts
- Contribute to pre-approval campaigns and personalized pricing tests
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, MIS, analytics/data science, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience (required)
- 5+ years of relevant financial services experience (required)
- Experience in banking industry with a strong understanding of key drivers of financial results (preferred)
- Advanced skills in SQL, Python, R, Cognos, SAS, Tableau, Excel, and Google Cloud
- Expertise in designing and creating dashboards and reports
- Ability to access and interpret data from enterprise data warehouses and supply chains
- Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills
- Deep banking and financial insight
- Structured problem-solving and risk anticipation
- Experience reviewing work, mentoring junior analysts, and contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Familiarity with Agile development practices
- Ability to occasionally operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver's license
