About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct pre-donation medical screening
- Interact with donors and respond to customer needs
- Assess donor suitability and engage in donor set-up
- Provide appropriate feedback to ineligible donor candidates
- Ensure all donor screening information is complete

Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or GED

- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Obtains required state licensures or certifications where applicable
- Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to listen to and understand spoken information
- Ability to perform a wide range of complex tasks under variable and changing conditions

- Ability to work in a plasma center with exposure to biological fluids, infectious organisms, laboratory equipment, and extreme cold
- Ability to use required personal protective equipment
- Ability to sit or stand for an entire shift, bend, and twist the neck and waist
- Frequent hand, finger, wrist, and foot movements, including precise coordinated movements
- Ability to lift 15 lbs. routinely and up to 50 lbs. maximum
- Hearing acuity and correctable near, far, and color vision meeting stated standards
