About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical leadership in the design, development, and integration of complex systems to meet customer requirements
- Work on next-generation and new product development projects in the Airborne Traffic, Collision Avoidance & Surveillance Avionics space
- Own systems engineering development across every aspect of the systems life cycle
- Lead customer interactions and ensure timely, successful delivery of programs within scope and budget
- Develop, validate, integrate, and verify systems/software requirements
- Collaborate with Systems, Software, Hardware, and Test Engineers to understand customer requirements and provide innovative solutions
- Troubleshoot complex issues under pressure
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and systems engineering best practices
- Oversee integration and testing of complex systems to meet performance and quality standards
- Motivate and mentor team members
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelors or Masters in Electric/Electronics/Computers/Aerospace Engineering
- Minimum 15 years of experience working in various application areas supporting Avionics functions, Navigation and Airborne Surveillance (TCAS, Transponder, ADS-B, DME, UAT)
- Adept in systems integration of complex systems, systems test procedures and reviews
- Ability to manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies effectively
- Competence to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving capability
- Ability to quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts
- Ability to multitask and adapt to project changes
