Key responsibilities & impact- Work closely with Communication Systems Engineers designing radio communication solutions from conceptual phases through implementation
- Consult with customers to determine requirements and design suitable solutions
- Develop technical strategies and generate customer proposals with sales, product development, and project management
- Coordinate customer solution design and planning using advanced technologies
- Provide technical support throughout the pre-sales project phase
- Perform coverage and antenna site selection, frequency planning, interference analysis, system architecture design, equipment selection, proposal generation, and customer presentations
- Participate in implementation of designed solutions
- Take responsibility for technical aspects of assigned projects from award through system acceptance
- Support implementation planning, system acceptance testing, coverage testing, and system staging
- Keep sales professionals and customers informed about current Motorola Solutions technology offerings and their relevance to customer needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma required
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree with an expected graduation date on or after December 2027
- Returning to school in the Fall of 2027
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely required
- Employer work permit sponsorship is not available
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex topics to non-technical audiences
- Self-motivated and able to maintain focus in a pressured environment
- Customer experience desirable
- Knowledge or experience in radio systems, radio propagation, RF, wireless, broadband, microwave, and/or networking desirable
- Knowledge or experience of MPLS, Ethernet, and TCP/IP communications networks desirable
- CCNA, CompTIA, and/or Amateur Radio/HAM certifications desirable
- Preferred candidates will live in the Northeast/New England
