About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Run the Environmental Consulting business unit end to end, including strategy, client relationships, quality, and financial performance
- Select the environmental sub-specialty or sub-specialties served and identify buyers
- Bring existing client relationships to Infinity and expand the client roster
- Serve as the single accountable client contact from site survey through filing
- Define complete, jurisdiction-correct reports and review/sign off on drafts
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams on jurisdictional requirements, field data capture, and automated report drafting
- Determine the appropriate team structure, including field practitioners where needed
- Partner with other business unit leaders on cross-selling to shared clients
Requirements
What you’ll need- Substantial hands-on experience in a specific environmental discipline
- Technical credentials and standing that regulators and clients require
- Existing book of business, or relationships to build one quickly
- Command of local, state, and/or federal agency requirements for the niche
- Senior non-partner deep in delivering the service and ready to build a practice, or already-independent practitioner
- Understanding of which work components should move to an AI-driven workflow first
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Based in the United States
- Business units currently serve US clients only
