Key responsibilities & impact- Perform tasks, assignments, analysis, and development within a limited scope and scale of deliverables
- Contribute to scoping stakeholder requirements for analytic solutions and developing appropriate analytic approaches
- Design and develop data models and visualizations meeting project requirements and established design standards
- Conduct data validation tests to ensure measurement quality
- Present solutions to stakeholders and collaborate through iterations
- Assist with training and coaching team members and stakeholders on tools and methodologies
- Manage individual workload and quality of deliverables
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Report to the assigned Director or Vice President
- Perform duties in a manner that maintains a physical environment free of hazards
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS/BA in information technology, math, statistics, healthcare or business-related field or equivalent relevant work experience
- Master's Degree (MSIS preferred) or 2+ years' experience in technology or technology related field
- Intermediate SQL knowledge, including creating stored procedures and functions
- Use of temporary tables and CTEs
- Knowledge of best practices in data modeling
- Experience with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes and principles
- Strong experience delivering analytics to technical, non-technical, and leadership teams
- Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of employees and clients
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently under general direction
- Healthcare experience, particularly working with data (preferred)
- Statistical modeling experience (preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of database principles, processes, technologies, and tools (preferred)
- Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) (preferred)
- Visualization experience using BI tools such as QlikView, Tableau, Cognos, and Crystal Reports (preferred)
- Experience with Agile development methodologies (preferred)
- Experience and/or training in Lean & Six Sigma, Change Management, Facilitation Skills, and Project Management (preferred)
