Key responsibilities & impact- Align CMC scientific and regulatory requirements with overall project management, from preliminary studies (URS, APS, APD) through commissioning
- Integrate CMC constraints (quality, compliance, cost, and schedule) into the overall project plan
- Facilitate and coordinate interfaces between engineering teams, equipment specialists, and scientific teams
- Lead the relocation of existing equipment, procurement of new equipment, qualification (IOQ), and requalification
- Track budgets and progress schedules for the CMC scope
- Identify project risks and propose solutions aligned with technological requirements
- Escalate matters requiring arbitration to project governance
- Prepare and lead progress reporting and deliverables for project management and steering committees
Requirements
What you’ll need- Engineering degree, Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), or Master’s degree (five-year degree) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Process Engineering, or Pharmaceutical Development
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry
- Demonstrated expertise in the CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing & Controls) environment
- Strong experience in engineering or CapEx project management
- Experience with renovating or modifying manufacturing units, or installing equipment
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong ability to synthesize information, diplomacy, and the ability to facilitate discussions and make decisions in a multidisciplinary environment
- Fluent in French and English
- Bilingual environment
