About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct feasibility studies for new investments
- Develop basic and detailed multidisciplinary designs
- Specify equipment and prepare project-related documentation, technical bid evaluations, processes, and service requisitions, particularly for filling and packaging machinery
- Lead technical discussions with suppliers in Brazil and abroad
- Technically evaluate proposals based on project requirements
- Supervise the installation, commissioning, and start-up of new equipment or lines, particularly filling and packaging machinery
- Develop solutions and execute engineering projects using new technologies and innovations
- Report to the Project Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Engineering
- Intermediate English proficiency
- Proficiency in project management techniques, including scope, schedule, cost, and risk management
- Knowledge of food safety and personnel safety (NR-12)
- Experience with filling and packaging machinery, Industry 4.0, robotic applications—with an emphasis on collaborative robots—autonomous material handling (AGVs and AMRs), palletizing systems, vertical form-fill-seal machines (VFFS), horizontal form-fill-seal machines (HFFS), labeling machines, capping machines, case packers, checkweighers, metal detectors, and X-ray inspection systems
- Dynamic, proactive, hands-on approach and strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel
