About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical leadership for building services on highly complex projects
- Coordinate the development and integration of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, and special systems designs
- Technically manage building services disciplines throughout all project phases
- Analyze and validate engineering solutions, technical specifications, and design documents
- Plan, monitor, and control the execution of building services work on site
- Ensure quality, safety, schedule, and cost requirements are met
- Liaise with clients, designers, suppliers, subcontractors, and site teams
- Support budgeting, procurement, and the engagement of specialized service providers
- Conduct risk analyses, identify opportunities, and implement value engineering solutions
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, startup, and handover of installed systems
- Monitor performance indicators and prepare management reports
- Ensure compliance with technical standards, regulations, and contractual requirements
- Serve as a technical reference for the team, promoting best practices and professional development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering
- Active professional engineering registration
- At least 8 years of experience with building services on medium- and large-scale construction projects
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, and special systems
- Experience in planning, budgeting, contracts, and construction management
- Advanced Excel and AutoCAD skills
- BIM experience (Revit/Navisworks) is preferred
- Leadership profile, strategic vision, and results-oriented mindset
