About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for building and industrial facilities projects
- Analyze designs, descriptive specifications, technical requirements, and tender documents
- Conduct quantity takeoffs and quantify materials, equipment, and services across facilities disciplines
- Prepare cost breakdowns, budgets, and investment estimates
- Request and analyze supplier and subcontractor quotations, performing technical and commercial bid comparisons
- Support the development of technical solutions aimed at cost optimization and improving proposal competitiveness
- Participate in assessing project risks, assumptions, and opportunities
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Planning, and Construction teams to align technical information
- Support the preparation of schedules and feasibility studies for developments
- Use BIM tools and engineering software to extract quantities and analyze designs
- Monitor market trends, technologies, and solutions applicable to facilities disciplines
- Ensure proposals meet clients’ technical, regulatory, and contractual requirements
- Provide technical and cost-estimating support for facilities projects, including design analysis, quantity takeoffs, cost breakdowns, quotations, technical bid comparisons, and the development of engineering solutions
- Support the preparation of proposals for highly complex developments, ensuring project technical and financial feasibility and integration among the teams involved
- Vertin develops and executes highly complex engineering projects for the private sector, serving Data Centers, Food and Beverage, Pharmaceutical and Cosmetics, Healthcare, Industrial, and Buildings and Social Infrastructure markets
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering
- Active CREA registration or in the process of obtaining it
- Knowledge of building and industrial facilities
- Proficiency in Excel and AutoCAD
- Experience in construction cost estimating, planning, or execution is desirable
- Knowledge of BIM (Revit/Navisworks) is desirable
