About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and review hydrological and hydraulic studies and designs applied to engineering, particularly in the mining and energy sectors
- Prepare and analyze studies related to dams, stockpiles, industrial plants, and water balance
- Perform hydrological and hydraulic modeling using specialized software
- Analyze simulation results and technical studies, contributing to the definition of engineering solutions
- Provide technical support to multidisciplinary teams and participate in technical discussions with clients
- Conduct technical site visits as required by the projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Water Resources Engineering, or a related field
- Master’s degree and/or specialization in Water Resources, Hydrology, Hydraulics, or a related field
- Extensive experience in engineering projects
- Experience with hydrological and hydraulic studies applied to engineering projects
- Knowledge of and experience using HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, RiverFlow 2D, AutoCAD, and QGIS
- Valid Category B driver’s license
- Availability to conduct technical site visits
- Preferred: experience with projects and studies for the mining sector, including dams, stockpiles, industrial plants, and water balance
- Preferred: experience with energy-sector projects, particularly SHPs and HPPs
