About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Guide healthcare clients through deal strategy and value creation work across mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring
- Lead healthcare private equity value creation workstreams across diligence and post-deal phases
- Manage project planning, budgeting, timelines, and deliverables for multiple client engagements
- Analyze operational performance, market trends, and sector benchmarks to identify value levers and risk areas
- Develop strategic frameworks supporting acquisition strategy, business plan evaluation, and post-merger integration
- Guide teams through financial modeling, scenario analysis, and financial risk analysis for transaction decisions
- Review deliverables for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with client objectives and Deal Strategy methodologies
- Coach team members on analytical thinking, deal structures, and value creation approaches
- Apply capital markets, competitive analysis, and industry trend insights to complex healthcare deal questions
- Lead teams and manage client accounts while mentoring junior staff
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 5 years of experience
- Preference for a Master's or Masters of Business Administration degree in Accounting, Analytics/Data Science, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Financial Mathematics/Quantitative Finance, Law/Legal Studies, Mathematics/Statistics, Operations/Supply Chain
- Private equity value creation experience in healthcare settings
- Experience leading transaction, diligence, or value creation workstreams
- Experience managing client relationships and cross-functional project timelines
- Experience mentoring teams through analytic problem solving and decision-making
- Experience applying financial modeling, market analysis, and operational insights
- Ability to travel up to 80%
- Must not require, now or in the future, PwC sponsorship through the H-1B lottery, except as set forth in PwC's policy
