About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage staffing for a dedicated practice by matching qualified resources to open project needs
- Prioritize needs and allocate resources in alignment with business, client, and talent strategy
- Assess best-fit practitioners using one-on-one discussions and deployment-tool data
- Advise Service Delivery teams on creative and alternate staffing solutions
- Maintain understanding of engagement portfolios and sales pipelines
- Identify future demand surges and supply shortages and develop mitigation recommendations
- Support deployment needs for large, cross-practice engagements
- Maintain proficiency in deployment tools and reporting capabilities
- Bring data insights, trends, resource skills, and open-needs status to weekly staffing calls
- Build leadership relationships and act as a trusted advisor
- Prepare and analyze data to identify issues, trends, shortages, and surpluses
- Travel less than 10%
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of resource management experience at a professional services firm
- 7+ years of work experience, preferably in consulting or advisory services
- Experience partnering with hiring managers and business stakeholders across Technology, IT Services, or related technical domains
- Mastery of Microsoft Office products; proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience working in Power BI is ideal
- Strong executive presence and interpersonal relationship-building skills
- Ability to independently lead and develop staff members
- Ability to serve as a knowledgeable, confidential resource to executive management
- Entrepreneurial spirit and solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to work in dynamic, changing environments
- Ability to craft and deliver verbal and written messages and make recommendations to varied audiences
- Desire to participate in Riveron culture and internal initiatives
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
