Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the Project Management and Continuous Improvement practices within the department
- Provide mentorship and promote consistency in delivery of project outcomes
- Create and maintain departmental roadmaps, work instructions, tools, and templates
- Provide specialized technical support by applying advanced project management principles
- Lead the Change Management practice, including methodology, standards, and tools
- Develop and implement project plans
- Plan, develop, and execute project communications and status reporting
- Organize, schedule, and facilitate project team meetings and stakeholder updates
- Create project reports
- Coordinate cross-discipline communication and collaboration
- Develop and manage project schedules, work breakdown structures, task lists, dependencies, and resource assignments
- Coordinate and supervise timely completion of project deliverables

Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Engineering or Science (any discipline)
- Ten (10) years of work experience relevant to project management, construction or the natural gas/oil industry
- 5–7 years of direct Project Management experience
- Project Management Certificate(s) (PMI-PMP, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt) is required
- Professional Engineer, Engineering Licensee or eligibility for registration with APEGS will be strongly considered
- Prosci certification is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to coach and mentor employees while building and maintaining effective relationships and empowering team members to succeed
- Must have a continuing record of professional development and continuous learning
- A valid Class 5 driver’s license is required
- A suitable combination of relevant education and experience may also be considered
