Key responsibilities & impact- Lead project management together with the client Project Manager, focusing on meeting the critical path through Go-Live
- Apply the SAP Activate methodology during the Realize, Deploy, and Run phases, including quality gates, testing (unit testing, integration testing, and UAT), data loads (MOCKs and Production), and cutover
- Maintain and control the integrated MS Project schedule, including the baseline, replanning, critical path, variance indicators, and reconciliation with Cloud ALM
- Manage scope, schedule, cost, and changes, including GAPs, developments (EF, ET, ABAP, and CPI), and specification approval SLAs
- Coordinate functional and technical consultants, key users, the client’s IT team, and third-party vendors
- Manage S/4HANA integrations with client and partner systems
- Lead governance and communications, including weekly status reports, Executive Committee meetings, minutes, decision logs, and escalations
- Identify and manage risks and issues, with action plans and assigned owners
- Ensure change management, key-user and end-user training, Go/No-Go decision-making, and hypercare
- Support planning and transition between project waves
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience as a Senior Project Manager implementing SAP S/4HANA, preferably in Greenfield projects and under the RISE with SAP / Private Cloud model
- Experience in agribusiness projects, preferably with cooperatives or commodity trading companies
- Knowledge of grain origination and trading, contracts (fixed-price, to-be-fixed, barter, and forward delivery), storage, receipt, grading, and agribusiness operations
- Strong command of the SAP Activate methodology in large-scale projects with multiple workstreams and waves
- Advanced MS Project skills, including integrated schedules, baselines, critical paths, and resource allocation
- Experience managing blended teams (integrator, client, and third parties) and leading executive governance
- Willingness to travel
- Experience with SAP ACM (Agricultural Contract Management) and integrations with weighing systems
- Knowledge of SAP Cloud ALM
- Knowledge of tax implications in SAP projects, such as Brazil’s Tax Reform (CBS/IBS)
- SAP Activate certification
- Assertive communication and strong negotiation skills with clients, including under deadline pressure
- Leadership skills and the ability to influence business areas and key users
- Results-oriented mindset and data-driven decision-making
