About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Complete a fully supported and structured 12-month Pathway to Specialty Practice program
- Develop theoretical and practical knowledge in Cardiology and Cardiac Cath Lab nursing
- Participate in simulation training and a minimum of 4 study days
- Receive support from education, nursing and medical teams
- Transition into a permanent role upon successful completion of the program
- Work at the Fitzroy and Werribee campuses
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Recent acute care medical or surgical experience, minimum of 12 months
- Criminal record and/or child protection checks
- Compliance with the SVHA Staff Health Screening Immunisation Policy, including mandatory immunisations/vaccinations depending on the role
