Key responsibilities & impact- Design and lead the architecture of modern, scalable full-stack applications
- Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to junior engineers
- Lead integration of AI-powered features into existing and new applications
- Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to align engineering solutions with business objectives
- Lead design, development, testing, and deployment of greenfield full-stack applications
- Drive modernization efforts by migrating and redesigning legacy applications into Flask/Next.js

- Act as a technical escalation point for production issues
- Oversee and improve performance, reliability, and maintainability of core applications
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
- 4+ years of full-stack software engineering experience
- Proven experience leading design and development of production-grade web applications using Flask, React, and Next.js
- Experience with and without GenAI coding tools such as Claude Code and Cursor
- Strong skills in SQL design, Postgres, performance tuning, and Azure-based services, including AI-powered features
- Application Security – Intra and SD element
- Experience mentoring and developing engineers
- Preferred: Experience with Agentic development, AI Automation, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD
- Preferred: Experience with Python, Databricks, and cloud-native architecture
- Preferred: Experience designing and deploying AI-powered features into commercial applications
- Preferred: Strong stakeholder engagement skills, especially in commercial or MedTech environments
