Key responsibilities & impact- Provide research, evaluation, assessment, operational, reporting, and analytical support for Technology Controls / Information Security programs and initiatives
- Participate in and provide advice and guidance on cybersecurity projects of moderate complexity
- Provide enterprise-wide subject matter expertise on cybersecurity
- Respond to security incidents, conduct research and root cause analysis, and develop remediation plans
- Participate in and advise on projects of low to moderate complexity within the area of specialization
- Assemble and contribute enterprise-level metrics for internal, managerial, and regulatory reporting
- Research and document enterprise-level processes
- Create gap analysis reports
- Analyze enterprise-wide reports, malware alerts, emerging threats, and potential impacts on the bank's state of controls
- Recommend appropriate action plans to management
- Prioritize and manage workload under management guidance
- Perform occasional domestic travel
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Information security certification / accreditation an asset
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Sound knowledge of one or more technology controls / security domains, disciplines and practices
- Sound knowledge of organization, technology controls, security, and risk issues
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload to deliver quality results and meet timelines
- Ability to perform sedentary work continuously
- Ability to perform multiple tasks continuously
- Ability to operate standard office equipment continuously
- Ability to concentrate for long periods of time continuously
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions continuously
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide continuously
