About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and develop Production Unit managers and key operational support functions across North America
- Build capabilities and foster a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement
- Ensure effective resourcing, succession planning and competence development
- Promote safety culture and compliance with HSE, operational and quality standards
- Deliver financial targets and improve profitability, cost efficiency and absorption
- Oversee capacity, production, quality, inventory and delivery performance across the workshop network
- Drive Operational Excellence, Lean and continuous improvement
- Develop the long-term operational roadmap, workshop footprint and investment priorities
- Collaborate across functions to improve supply chain performance, procurement savings and subcontracting
- Ensure root cause analysis and corrective actions for significant quality and safety issues
- Report to the Head of Operations, PAC SER Roll Services
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant technical field, or equivalent experience
- At least 10 years of experience in operations or a similar environment
- Proven track record of leading people and delivering financial and operational performance in a complex, multi-site organization
- Experience in workshop or service operations is an advantage
- Fluent in English
- Willing to travel nationally and internationally
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Successful background check
- Successful pre-employment physical and drug screen
