Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area; OR
- 8 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
- Extensive experience leading the design and development of scalable, cloud-native software systems and AI-powered solutions
- Proven ability to translate domain-level strategies into reliable, high-quality system implementations
- Strong expertise in DevOps, CI/CD, observability, and incident management
- Demonstrated skill in architectural decision-making prioritizing extensibility, maintainability, and security compliance
- Ability to mentor and develop engineering talent
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Proactive focus on optimizing systems, automating processes, and enhancing engineering velocity
- Must comply with Walmart's drug-free workplace policy
