About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee multiple complex senior housing capital projects throughout the Southern California market
- Manage approximately 3–5 projects at any given time, depending on project scope and complexity
- Manage and execute daily on-site activities for multiple projects
- Coordinate and participate in project meetings with subcontractors, consultants, and stakeholders
- Serve as the primary point of contact for renovation activities
- Conduct frequent property inspections to ensure safety precautions and physical property integrity
- Supervise contractor work and escalate potential risks and issues
- Ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget, hazard-free for on-site staff and residents, and compliant with the Scope of Work and Contract Documents
- Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings
- Ensure project close-out documents are properly ordered and filed
- Prepare and update weekly project status reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Update construction progress schedules and trackers
- Provide administrative support and complete other assigned tasks as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma required
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Real Estate, or a related field highly preferred
- A minimum of 3 years’ related work experience
- Knowledge of real estate construction is a plus
- Must reside in or near the DFW metroplex
- Must complete a background check, drug screening, and verification of employment, education, and other credentials relevant to the position
- Frequent travel between multiple project sites required
- Daily on-site presence at assigned project sites required
