About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review project engineering and sales packages to determine Zeeco's scope of supply
- Read customer specifications and implement them as applicable
- Develop P&ID drawings in coordination with project, sales, and process engineers
- Develop the Control Narrative and Cause & Effect diagram with process engineers
- Develop data sheets and hook-up drawings for instruments and valves, including temperature, level, flow, and pressure transmitters, control valves, positioners, analytical, and other instrumentation
- Develop and review drawings for control panels, power distribution, junction boxes, and aviation warning light systems
- Prepare and review cable BOMs, routing plans, and schedules
- Prepare RFQs or Materials Requisitions and perform technical and commercial alignment of vendor offers
- Coordinate with Procurement for purchase order placement
- Support the Project Manager in reviewing and controlling the control portion budget
- Prepare bid tabs for control items for Project Engineer/Project Manager review
- Inspect and test equipment before shipment from Zeeco's fabrication facility, potentially with the customer and Project Engineer present
- Travel domestically and overseas to assist sales, support customer commissioning, and participate in FAT, HAZOP, SIL, and technical meetings
Requirements
What you’ll need- B.S. degree or Master's Degree in Engineering (Instruments, Automation, Electrical, etc.) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Fluent in Italian and English
