Key responsibilities & impact- Work closely with Project Managers to coordinate high demand projects within U.S. Data Center Services
- Support execution of project activities and help ensure on-time delivery within project budget and the operating model
- Conduct analysis of plan versus actual project performance
- Monitor and release requests for invoicing, including follow-up on delays and errors
- Coordinate administrative tasks and ensure documentation and follow-up via email, SharePoint, and Project Management software
- Meet internal and customer-driven SLAs and response times across assigned projects
- Assist the project manager with scheduling kickoff and recurring stakeholder meetings
- Troubleshoot and resolve coordination and administrative concerns
- Act as backup support to the project manager on weekly calls
- Review project plans and ensure site safety and integrity topics are identified and addressed before project commencement
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED required
- 3+ years of project support experience required
- Current experience with Microsoft Office Suite required, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required
- Ability to work across all U.S. based time zones as needed
- Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
- Combination of higher education and relevant work experience highly preferred
- CAPM certification or PMP highly preferred
- 2+ years experience in Electrical-based project management or project support highly preferred
- Microsoft Project Planner a plus
