About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide product and service solutions to customers in the paper and tissue industry
- Lead strategic planning to expand target product market share
- Drive business growth, value selling, and pricing
- Provide product expertise, service sourcing/development, and parts sourcing
- Analyze ANDRITZ's market position
- Manage profitability and growth of the Engineered Parts and Solutions product line
- Promote solutions for customer needs
- Ensure efficient execution of inquiries and orders
- Provide technical and commercial direction to the sales force
- Develop proposals, product costing, and pricing
- Manage production and purchasing decisions with focus on competitive impact and profitability
- Maintain annual budget and develop strategic solutions with other product groups
- Analyze market and competitor landscapes and craft market-share growth strategies
- Develop marketing and promotion strategies
- Contribute to research and development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Post-Secondary level education in paper technology, engineering, automation, technology, or similar
- 3+ years technical sales, service and/or product management experience
- Experience in the pulp and paper industry is preferred
- Solid mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in the field both independently and with Service Technicians
- Service mindset and customer focus
- Self-motivated, able to handle multiple tasks and manage priorities
- Familiarity with Office 365 products
- Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD is advantageous
- Familiarity with SAP is advantageous
- Additional spoken languages such as French are a benefit
