About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary contact for license management matters within Anthesis.
- Maintain centralized records of software licenses, subscriptions, and entitlements across all regions.
- Track license usage, expiration dates, and renewal schedules to prevent lapses and ensure compliance.
- Support IT procurement by facilitating vendor communications, collecting quotes, and reviewing contracts.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to software overuse, underuse, or unauthorized installations.
- Collaborate with IT teams to gather licensing requirements and usage data.
- Generate reports on license utilization, associated costs, and compliance status.
- Contribute to standardizing licensing methodologies, best practices, tracking tools, and compliance processes globally.
- Support the Group CTO with FinOps reporting and license compliance.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in software license management, license administration, or license support, preferably in a global environment.
- Strong understanding of software licensing regulations and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with software licensing models (SaaS, subscription, perpetual).
- Knowledge of records management, analysis, reporting, and software asset management.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent administrative and coordination abilities.
- Comfortable working across time zones and cultures.
- Proficient in Excel and reporting tools.
- Ability to interpret licensing agreements and support procurement processes.
