About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform internal case management, evaluation, education, and development of nursing talent
- Participate in patient transitions from facilities to homes through Start of Care Assessments and Re-evaluations
- Review physicians’ orders and update plans of care and documentation as necessary
- Assist with selecting, training, and validating new clinical staff
- Promote and enhance staff clinical expertise to provide safe, quality nursing care
- Collaborate with the operations and business development team
- Ensure adherence to state, federal, and local regulations and Aveanna policies and procedures
- Conduct patient intake and discharge to home, start-of-care processes, nurse competency validation, and in-home staff mentoring and professional guidance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Good standing RN license in the state in which the clinician will practice
- At least 1 year of hands-on nursing experience
- Ability to travel to patients’ homes in the designated territory
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass an MVR check
- Current CPR certification from AHA or ARC
- Willingness to supervise caregivers providing care to infants, children, adolescents, and/or adults
