Key responsibilities & impact- Provide support across multiple Deposit Operations functions
- Review reports and prepare correspondence
- Participate in department special projects
- Respond to emails, phone calls, and workflow requests through an electronic ticketing system
- Maintain department SLAs for each function
- Provide support to meet deadlines
- Assist other areas during increased volumes and special projects
- Update and create job aids and procedures
- Perform deposit processing for HOA clients, ensuring checks are negotiable, match payees, and are processed timely
- Investigate and process Zelle and debit card disputes under Regulation E
- Perform account maintenance, including interest adjustment calculations and posting, document research, negative balance monitoring, operating loss monitoring, and Reg CC callbacks
- Balance Loomis Cash Vault and make manual adjustments or entries
- Perform daily and monthly reconciliation for assigned general ledger accounts
- Balance branch and suspense accounts
- Support end-of-day processing and reporting
- Perform dormant activation, adjustment, decedent, verification of deposit, exception, IOLTA, and teller correction processing
- Monitor and process retirement accounts
- Open and maintain brokered CD accounts
- Process wires related to disposition of Deposit Account Control Agreements (DACA)
- Monitor and process escrow retention accounts
- Perform callback procedures and daily report reviews
- Assist management with escheatment processing
- Perform other assigned duties and projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience in bank operations, preferably with exposure to multiple deposit functions
- Strong understanding of banking systems, transaction processing, and compliance protocols
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Must stay current on all BAI compliance certifications and regulations pertaining to serviced functions, including Reg CC and Reg E
- Ability to follow U.S. state and federal laws and regulations
- Ability to complete tasks correctly and on time and support company goals and values
- Compliance with occupational safety and health standards and OSHA requirements
