About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
- Support sourcing strategies, negotiations, and documentation of contracts and agreements
- Gather data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities
- Prepare and execute proprietary information agreements
- Communicate performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance
- Integrate program, customer, product, and program strategies into source selection, negotiation, and contracting strategies
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms and conditions
- Prepare and execute negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements
- Conduct risk, issues, and opportunities management
- Manage supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery, and financial performance
- Initiate and execute supplier improvement activities and integrate results into contracting strategies
- Travel expected to be less than 10% / may require travel up to 10% of the time
- Work 100% onsite at one of the listed locations on 1st shift
Requirements
What you’ll need- More than 1 year of experience in Supply Chain and/or Supply Chain Management
- More than 1 year of experience in Microsoft Office
- Experience in Customer Service
- U.S. Citizenship required to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
- Ability to obtain an interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance post-start
- U.S. Person status required for U.S. export control compliance
- Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
- Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred
- Experience in contracts and proposals preferred
- Experience leading supplier terms & conditions and price negotiations preferred
- Experience negotiating price and schedule with suppliers and customers preferred
- Experience using SAP software preferred
- Entry Level 1: typically related work experience or relevant military experience
- Associate Level 2: typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience
