About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supervise, mentor, and directly manage installation and maintenance technicians
- Review deliverables and scheduling, and mitigate issues affecting internal teams or clients
- Provide on-site mentoring and participate in installation, testing, or quality checks at significant project milestones
- Report functionally to the Comtech NG911 Program Manager
- Serve as the primary contact for installation and maintenance
- Communicate with clients, cross-functional teams, and external providers
- Respond to emails, service requests, and other communications
- Build rapport with local PSAP management, supervisors, and staff through calls and on-site visits
- Act as the first point of escalation for deployment, installation, break-fix, and customer escalation activities during normal business hours
- Perform other appropriate duties assigned by the Field Services Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5 or more years of related experience, including supervisory experience
- Computer systems / IP Network installation experience
- Associate level in a technical field (networking, IT, workstations), or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, or work experience
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening
- Compliance with Comtech’s Drug-Free Workplace Program
- Frequent travel within the State of Ohio
- Illegal drug use, including marijuana regardless of state law, is disqualifying under federal adjudicative guidelines and DoD DFARS requirements
