About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advise management on market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product strategy and prioritize enhancements and initiatives
- Serve as liaison to enterprise strategy teams and lead cross-functional stakeholder alignment for strategic enterprise and cross-channel initiatives, including Health100
- Define and communicate multi-year digital vision and strategic themes aligned with business goals and market demands
- Manage roadmap development and maintenance in alignment with product strategy
- Coordinate design, value tracking and reporting, engineering, and product teams throughout the software development lifecycle
- Gather feedback from executive leadership and customers and communicate product updates and enhancements
- Develop executive presentations and strategic storytelling for executive leadership, the Board of Directors, clients, and external audiences
- Lead annual budgeting, capital planning, investment allocation, and portfolio management
- Lead a cross-functional team responsible for product operations, strategic planning, governance, executive communications, and organizational effectiveness supporting Aetna Technology
- Manage and develop a growing team through coaching, performance feedback, and professional development
- Foster a high-performing, collaborative environment through advocacy and mentorship
- Define product strategy, lead roadmap development, prioritize feature development, and ensure product delivery
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of experience in product strategy and product operations
- 8+ years of experience leading complex projects involving multiple cross-functional groups
- 8+ years of experience with people/performance management, leadership, and coaching in a matrixed organization
- 8+ years of professional communication experience, verbal and written, including executive presentations and influencing across disciplines and seniority levels
- 8+ years of experience managing budgets, capital planning, portfolio management, and resource alignment across strategic initiatives
- 2+ years of experience with AI and digital development within the Agile or SAFe framework
- Ability to travel up to 15% annually within the continental US
- Ability to support east coast business hours
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
- Managed healthcare experience preferred
- Mastery of problem solving and decision-making skills preferred
- Growth mindset and ability to develop self and others preferred
- Ability to balance ideal-state planning with expeditious delivery preferred
