About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Load and unload inbound and outbound freight
- Perform quality checks on freight, part numbers, quantities, and material condition
- Execute inventory cycle counts and replenishment orders for critical spare parts
- Process return shipments using warehouse management systems
- Place server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices
- Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks using diagrams and schematics
- Install rack hardware using hand, power, and measuring tools
- Operate straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks
- Maintain safety, cleanliness, and 5S standards through cleanup activities
- Provide material order, customer service, inventory management, and material movement support
- Maintain daily adherence to safety and process procedures, punctuality, reliability, attention to detail, and quality
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1–3 years of related experience
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
- Critical thinking and good analytical skills
- Experience with computers
- Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols
- Ability to work with live electrical and electronic equipment and components
- Ability to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must pass required federal/state/local government, airport, or company background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests
- Ability to push, pull, and lift frequently throughout the workday
- Ability to flexibly cross-train in multiple datacenter departments
