Key responsibilities & impact- Support the growth and expansion of the Market Insights function within Stryker Sustainability Solutions
- Contribute to market modeling, competitive intelligence, dashboard development, and primary and secondary market research
- Gather, organize, and interpret market, customer, and competitive information for business planning and decision-making
- Uncover new intelligence using competitive intelligence tools
- Gather and apply market research in decision-making
- Identify key industry segments and associated characteristics
- Support and provide analytical help in segmentation work
- Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards for market-sizing and competitive data
- Explain business performance measurements and identify trends
- Work with vendors to initiate RFPs
- Communicate critical information to internal stakeholders
- Contribute analyses to the marketing plan
- Provide metrics and updates to the larger group on applicable individual segments
- Examine past and current research requests to identify common topics and questions
- Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Strategy, Commercial Operations, and R&D
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree is required for this position
- 1+ year of experience using SQL, Power Query, DAX or statistical tools
- 1+ year of experience as a market insights analyst
- Bachelor's degree in finance, engineering, business analytics
- Data literacy skills and prior experience with triangulation of data
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines
- Ability to be persuasive in the absence of organizational authority
- Ability to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
