Key responsibilities & impact- Manage inventory to ensure compliance with customer-required KPIs
- Control inventory needed for forecasted sales and scheduled distribution
- Monitor and update master schedules for inventory turnover, stocking decisions, forecasting, and administrative controls
- Ensure inventory accuracy between WMS and financial systems
- Identify failed transactions and troubleshoot root causes and corrective actions
- Analyze inventory issues and drive process or IT solutions to minimize recurrence
- Direct corrective actions for system variances and work with local operations teams to resolve inaccuracies
- Monitor and resolve inbound and outbound order issues
- Manage returns and quarantine products
- Help ensure physical inventory accuracy to the WMS
- Coordinate with the Quality Manager to update Work Instructions
- Provide daily Pareto Analysis to site leadership
- Manage aged inventory and produce actionable reports
- Analyze and coordinate movement of aged materials
- Communicate with teams to verify order status and drive closure of open orders
- Drive periodic client-requested purge activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2–4 years’ experience with WMS applications
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, and/or JDA strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
- Strong speaking, writing, analytical, and organizational skills
- Experience with Microsoft Suite
- Ability to work independently and make crucial decisions
- Adept with computer software, especially databases and spreadsheets
- Must be capable of performing all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to pass required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests
