About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Independently analyze creditworthiness of existing holdings and identify new investment opportunities within assigned sectors
- Build and maintain financial models and prepare research reports
- Conduct investment back-office operations, including cash transaction reporting, monitoring capital calls, wire requests, and tender offers
- Assist with trade execution and settlement processes
- Work with Insurance operations on Statutory Deposit requests
- Identify and implement enhancements to operations processes to improve accuracy and efficiency
- Lead economic update processes and discussions on current economic trends
- Build and maintain economic models and evaluate additional improvements and indicators
- Identify ways to enhance portfolio yield and reduce risk
- Assist the Investment Team with quarterly and ad-hoc reporting, presentations, meeting minutes, and reviews of third-party managers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
- 3 years with Bloomberg or equivalent
- 3 years performing investment research
- 3 years monitoring equity, security, debt, and/or capital markets
- 2 years performing financial modeling
