Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of professional software development experience focused on large-scale, distributed systems
- 2+ years of experience leading teams of 3+ software engineers
- Expertise in multiple programming languages, including C#, Java, or Python, and their frameworks
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft and .NET technologies, specifically .NET Core, C#, and T-SQL
- Experience building scalable, performant RESTful APIs using ASP.NET
- Relational database development experience, preferably SQL Server
- Experience with a testing framework such as xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest
- Experience with a logging framework such as NLog, log4net, or Serilog
- Experience with an ORM framework such as Dapper, Entity Framework, or NHibernate
- Strong command of design patterns and SOLID principles
- Experience with software architecture design, including microservices, cloud-native applications, and event-driven systems
- Experience developing Single Page Applications using React, Angular, or Vue
- Strong understanding of Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Experience using GitHub, Azure Git, or other Git-based source control systems
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with ability to manage and mentor engineers
- Experience in Agile methodologies and globally distributed teams
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Ability to use high-speed home internet over 10 Mbps
- Must complete identity verification, background check, in-person I-9 verification, and potentially drug screening prior to employment
