About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries for assigned companies and general ledger accounts accurately and on time
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and year-end close deadlines
- Prepare federal, state, and local reports, including annual and monthly sales tax returns
- Maintain financial security by following internal controls
- Perform other assigned general ledger activities
- Reconcile assigned asset and liability account balances
- Assist in analyzing significant fluctuations in account balances to ensure financial record accuracy
- Prepare monthly reconciliations, including bank reconciliations
- Prepare annual audit schedules for external auditors
- Assist with accounting projects and reporting activities
