About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a new Individual and Family Markets team
- Oversee requirement research, document language drafting, and cross-team processes for customer-specific document creation, maintenance, revision, and filing
- Ensure document activities comply with corporate guidelines, benefit specifications, and statutory requirements
- Support performance, overall quality, and resource allocation for Individual and Family Markets document generation teams
- Support implementation strategies, projects, and initiatives
- Manage staff and operations
- Build relationships across the organization and with external key stakeholders
- Build consensus and resolve issues
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of health insurance contract operations experience plus one year of management experience, OR 9 years of health insurance contract operations experience plus one year of management experience
- Knowledge of health products and procedures, underwriting requirements, contract and funding arrangements
- Analytical and reporting skills
- PC proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Project management skills
- Customer service experience and acumen
- Leadership skills
- Verbal and written communication skills to manage staff and operations, build organizational and external stakeholder relationships, build consensus, and resolve issues
- Preferred: J.D. degree or 4 years’ experience in a leadership role with independent decision-making
- Preferred: Experience with change management processes/activities
- Preferred: Knowledge of corporate marketing practices and health insurance product lines
- Preferred: Experience managing cross-team processes involving regulatory objection flows
- Must adhere to HCSC's hybrid flex policy of 3 days in office per week
- Employment may be contingent upon successful completion of drug screening in accordance with applicable law
