Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare and develop management reports, analyses, and KPI evaluations
- Take responsibility for budget planning and in-year forecasting
- Conduct budget-versus-actual comparisons and variance analyses
- Analyze and comment on revenue, cost, and earnings performance
- Analyze revenue performance across products and sales areas
- Support budget management and control
- Conduct profitability calculations and scenario analyses
- Prepare decision-making materials for the executive team and management
- Collaborate with the Head of Finance, Central Europe regional management, and Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other specialist departments
- Develop and enhance controlling tools, reports, and KPIs
- Identify optimization potential and derive specific recommendations for action
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Collaborate with international Finance and Controlling teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, or a comparable qualification
- At least 3–5 years of professional experience in controlling, ideally within an international pharmaceutical company
- Strong understanding of revenue, cost, and earnings management
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Experience with Business Objects reporting is desirable
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA or a comparable ERP system
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken, at a business-fluent level
- Structured, analytical, and self-directed approach to work
- Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for collaborating with different specialist departments
